Cancer of the Prostate

We have been doing prostate seed implants for years. Our staff members have performed over 3000 of these procedures.

Unlike other facilities, we individualize each patients treatment. We believe everyone’s cancer is unique.

Available options for Prostate cancer are:

· IMRT

· Prostate Seed Implants

· Combination of IMRT and seeds

· Radical Prostatectomy (removal of the prostate)

· Watchful waiting

· Cryosurgery

We combine patients preferences with the popular Seattle approach for determining the most appropriate method of treatment. Please refer to our Position Statement on Prostate Cancer for more information.

Radiation Oncologist
Medical Physicist
Ultrasound Technician
Operating Room Personnel

· Iodine or Paladium Seeds

· We’ll do seed only implants
(If its appropriate)

· If appropriate, seed implants alone are frequently done.
